Dengang lykkedes det ikke at opn\u00e5 brud eller revnedannelse i konstruktionen\u00a0til trods for en belastning p\u00e5 68 tons.<\/p>\n<p>Til anden test i juli 2015 var der derfor medtaget 130 tons ballast for at sikre, at det denne gang var muligt at opn\u00e5 brud.<\/p>\n<p>Form\u00e5let med testen var i fuld skala at teste hvor stor en b\u00e6reevne en perlek\u00e6debue har i forhold til de teoretiske beregninger.\u00a0Forud for testen var den teoretiske karakteristiske b\u00e6reevne blevet beregnet til 55 tons. Ved 83 tons kunne der observeres fine revner i konstruktionen, som blev yderligere udviklet, da der blev belastet med ekstra 10 tons. Det endelige brud indtraf ved 98 tons.<\/p>\n<p>Broen br\u00f8d som forventet som et positivt moment\/knusningsbrud t\u00e6t ved belastningen. I forbindelse med bruddet br\u00f8d buen ogs\u00e5 i den ubelastede side. Projektgruppen var s\u00e6rdeles tilfredse med resultatet, som viste et varslet brud og en total brudlast p\u00e5 n\u00e6sten 2 x den beregnede karakteristiske b\u00e6reevne.<\/p>\n<p>Brokonceptets innovative input til byggeindustrien blev desuden understreget af tilstedev\u00e6relsen fra Discovery Channel, som fulgte hele brudtesten med et kamerahold til en udsendelse om konceptet i programmet &#8220;Daily Planet&#8221;. Programmet har ca. 8 mio. seere verden over, som kan f\u00f8lge brudtesten p\u00e5 kanalen til september.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><div class='av-flex-placeholder'><\/div>\n<style
