The SL-Deck combines the flexibility of self-compacting (in-situ) concrete with the speed and cost-efficiency of prefabrication.
This means that the geometry of the deck can be adjusted to modern building designs. E.g. the SL-deck can be delivered with round or sharp ends or sides fitting in with the building modules and thus eliminating the need for in-situ cast solutions.
This ensures a faster construction process as well as an easier planning with lower risk of mistakes.
Besides the outer geometry, the SL-Deck can also be delivered with hollows/openings in many shapes. The possibility for reinforcement around the hollows at the same time enable larger dimensions of the hollows compared to other types of precast decks.
Special deck geometries are made effectively in production as the full-automatic LAC-machine can leave out blocks in the relevant areas. The machine is controlled by a production planning software feeding the machine with an input file of the relevant production plan.
