Long spans

With SL-decks it is possible to make fixed-end connection over load-bearing walls/beams or in the end wall. This increases stability, improves vibration and enables up to 50% longer spans compared to simple supported slabs of same thickness.

SL-decks prepared for fixed-end assembly are produced with recesses and built-in steel brackets in the ends so the ends can be fixed immediately after being lifted in place.

The fixed-end assembly is carried out through horizontal brackets as shown on the pictures, after which the recess is grouted. This process is done at the same time as the joints are being casted. Slabs can be fixed to a varying degree depending on the dimension of the steel brackets.
